Hi! My name is Yani and I am the CEO of Bayou Beauty Beautique. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Throughout my adolescence, I was always finding ways to channel my creativity by creating and designing my own items. I always dreamt of opening my own store one day and in 2020 my dream finally came true. 

 

I was inspired by the hardworking Princess Tiana of the Bayou to finally open my own shop. She inspires me to work hard to reach my dreams and that when times get tough, just remember you’re almost there!

When I first launched my business, I was a full-time college student majoring in Spanish Languages & Cultures/K-12  Education with a minor in Latinx Studies. My dream was to become a teacher and spread magic through my students!

I am pleased to share that I am now a first-generation college graduate, a full-time high school Spanish teacher, and a proud FINER Woman Spring 21 initiate of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.!
